Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon was a well known Indian freedom fighter and a Sikh missionary. He was an Indian independence activist who extensively contributed to the Indian freedom struggle. Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon was one of the foremost members of the Ghadar Party. He was actively involved in the planning of the unsuccessful Ghadar conspiracy in the year 1915, in the British Indian Army. Pritam Singh Dhillon was a close associate of Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, who was another renowned Sikh missionary and an Indian freedom movement leader. Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon was a major element of the Indian National Army (INA), which was also known as the Azad Hind Fauj.
Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon was also a close friend of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the founder of the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army). Dhillon is known for reviving the similar thought of seeking the support of the Japanese army in the formation of the Indian National Army during the Second World War. Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon died in the year 1942 in an airplane crash.
