The nearest place which connects Valley of Flowers to the rest of the world is Govindghat which is around 17 kilometres away from Valley of Flowers. This space can be covered by trekking. Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport. People can hire a cab from the airport which will take them to Valley of Flowers. Rishikesh is the nearby railway station which is 272 kilometres away from the Valley. Regular buses carry out between Rishikesh and Valley of Flowers.
