The town of Bodri, which is also a nagar panchayat, is located in the Bilaspur district in the state of Chhattisgarh in India.
The statistical records of the 2001 India census reveal that 13,328 people populate the town. This figure constitutes 51% males, 49% females and 17% children who have not yet reached six years. While the national average literacy rate is 59.5% that of the town is higher with 60% of the population being literate. Among the males and females, 70% and 50% are respectively literate.
