Badkuhi is a small town situated in the district of Chhindwara in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The district headquarters are in Chhindwara town. The Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh comprises a part of Jabalpur Division. This district has numerous places with natural beauty and Tamia is one of them. Located near the Narmada Valley, Tamia is a pictorial holiday and picnic spot on the Satpura ranges. There is a rest house called Tamia Rest House from where the beautiful Dudhi Plateau is visible. Moreover, there are several Hindu shrines in Chhindwara District.
As per the 2001 India census, Badkuhi in Madhya Pradesh has a population of 10,764. Males comprise 52% of the population and females 48%. Badkuhi has an average literacy rate of 72%, much higher than the nationwide average of 59.5%. 58% of the males and 42% of females are literate. 11% of the total population is made up of children below 6 years of age.
