Panaikkulam Abdul Majid was an eminent author, poet and scholar from the Tamilcountry who lived in the twentieth century. The poet composed a number of literary and poetic works in Tamil language. Panaikkulam Abdul Majid was a hermit poet who lived the reclusive life. The Tamil Muslim poet composed several religious and devotional works that exemplify the ideas and customs of Islamic religion that made significant contribution in Tamil Islamic literature and are certainly praiseworthy.
