Marine Drive, which is now officially called Netaji Subhash Chandra Road is located in the Southern part of Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is one of the posh stretch in Mumbai. It is located over domesticated land, and its coastline forms the part of the Arabian Sea. Marine Drive was constructed in the year 1920s and 1930s on land rescued from the sea. Marine Drive is officially called Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road, but was earlier identified as Sonapur amongst local Marathi populace. To visit Marine Drive, one needs to reach Mumbai via air or by train from anywhere in India. The best time to visit Marine drive is in the early morning between 5am- 8am.
