Kashmir Pending is one of the popular Indian graphic novelsthat is published and distributed by Phantomville Publishing House, India. The illustrated novel is written by Naseer Ahmed, who is based out of Srinagar. The graphic novel is illustrated by artist Saurabh Singh. The plot of Kashmir Pending revolves around the tales of various characters in Kashmir and the way these characters deal with the conflict in the region. The central character of the story is named Mustaq. The story is set amongst the existing violence in the militancy ravaged Kashmir of 1989.
The graphic novel titled Kashmir Pending received several positive reviews and the manner of dealing with a contentious subject was also highly praised. Moreover the quality of the art work and the characterizations was much admired and appreciated. Kashmir Pending is published by Phantomville Publishing House, which was established by author and graphic artist Sarnath Banerjee, along with Anindya Roy.
