Concept of I am Kalki
The character of Kalki has a very captivating personality. The main objective of Kalki is to eliminate all evil and demons of ignorance and corruption. The ancient texts like Garuda Purana, Bhagavata Purana, Vishnu Purana and Kalki Purana describe Kalki appearing as a blazing thunder or light. After his descent from heaven the earth will be cleansed of all filth and thus Kalki is known as the destroyer of darkness.
The character of Kalki is portrayed in the series as a dark, slender, good-looking and youthful teenaged boy. He has extreme hatred within himself for things that are immoral, unethical, inhuman and corrupt. Kalki eventually re-invents himself and discovers the many powers that are embedded within him and in his control. He starts a new life in a big city and acts like an average teenager. But after nightfall, he transforms into his divine avatar and goes on a hunting spree to eliminate the modern day demons and enemies of humanity.
The concept and lead character of I am Kalki is rather unique and is an utmost and genuine attempt of creativity. The concept also tends to influence the readers to consider about various environmental factors.
