Hymns in Book XIII of Atharva Veda starts with the veneration of Rohita, a form of fire
and the sun. The following hymn is the glorification of the sun as aditya, Surya and
Rohita. The third hymn is adoration of Rohita with an imprecation on the man who
incorrect a Brahman. The final hymn is a glorification of the Sun as the single deity.
