Sagri is a pre wedding ritual of the Sindhis. In the ritual of Sagri the sisters of the groom dress up the girl. She is also adorned with flowers by them. It is considered that this ceremony is a way to know the girl better and make her comfortable. A little perfume is licked by the bride. This is done in order to bring fragrance to the tongue. This is done on the same evening as that of the Navgrahi Puja. She is also decorated with floral headdress, floral bracelets and garlands. She is also presented by the sisters with some cosmetics, five types of fruits, and 'misri', along with a plate of dried coconut, sweets, sugar candy and perfume.
