Krishna shishya is one such scholar who belonged to the interiors of Kerala. While not much is known about him, he is popularly known in Kerala for composing two works. While the first is concerned with metrical commentary on Hora a compilation by Varahamihira; the second one is a short treatise written in verse which raises astrological queries.
