Indian-Fusion Dance Academy has been founded by Selvi Pragasam, who also teaches various kinds of Indian dance forms to the students with utmost care. Selvi Pragasam is a renowned dancer and student of Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts, Bharathidasan University in Trichy. She has not only been trained in Bharatnatyam but also in various folk dances of India. The group of Indian-Fusion Dance Academy has performed all over India and Europe. One of the recent dance competitions attended by the students is the OSAAT Dance Competitions, where the adult team won the second place.
The Indian-Fusion Dance Academy was established in October of 2006. Since then the school had grown and has a present enrollment of almost 140 students. Besides, Selvi Pragasam, Rupinder has also joined as a faculty in this institute and enhanced the strength of the talented team of instructors in teaching folk dance forms like Bhangra and Giddha. The classes of folk dances are usually held during the weekends and other classical dance classes are carried throughout the week.
The Indian-Fusion Dance Academy offers exclusive Bollywood dance lessons, combo classes including Bharatnatyam and Bollywood folk lessons, weekend classes for the convenience of the students and so on. The exclusive Indian-fusion dance academy presentation is often started with a solo performance by Selvi Pragasam and eventually the show presents some splendid works of the students. The shows of Indian-Fusion Dance Academy often leave the audience spell bound with their lovely expressions and movements.
