In the year 1985, a total number of 21 people from different fields received the Padma Bhushan Award from the Government of India. The award is considered as one of the most prestigious and honourable civilian awards in India and is being presented by the Government of India since 1954. The award is mainly given to those people, who have shown extraordinary performances and achieved great feats in their respective fields. The people from India and also from abroad can win this award.
