The year 1970 saw total 28 people winning the third most prestigious and honourable civilian award in India, the Padma Bhushan Award. The award was incepted in the year 1954 by the Government of India and the government to recognise their talents presents it to the highly talented and exceptional people from different fields. The people from various fields, who have achieved great feats in their respective fields, receive the award.
