Presented by the Government of India, the Padma Bhushan Award is considered as the third highest civilian award in India. The award was incepted in the year 1954 and is given with a view to recognise the achievements of talented people in their respective fields. Since 1954, a large number of people have received the award and became a part of India`s glorious history. A total of 12 people won the Padma Bhushan Award in 1963 and also got recognition of their achievements.
