The Padma Bhushan Award was presented to a total of 10 people in the year 1960. The award is being given since 1954 and is counted amongst the top three civilian awards presented in India. The Government of India presents the award to some of the greatest talents of the country for recognising their outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
