![]() Early Life of Jeet Gannguli Born in the year 1977, Jeet Gannguli was into music from the age of three. He is trained in Indian classical music under the guidance of his father Kali Ganguly and his pisima (father's sister) Shibani Roychowdhury. He studied western classical music, jazz and rock with jazz guitarist Karlton Kitto. Rise to Fame of Jeet Gannguli Jeet got his first break when Sanjay Gadhvi started to direct Tere Liye and he signed on his friends Jeet and Pritam as music composers of the film. In 2002 Yash Raj Films signed Gadhvi up to direct the film Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai for which the Jeet-Pritam duo once again composed the music. All the songs from that movie later proved to be smash hits in the chartbusters. Awards and Achievements of Jeet Gannguli Jeet was honoured with the ‘Anandolok Award for Best Music Director’ in 2008 for the film ‘Chirodini Tumi Je Amar’. He again got the ‘Anandalok Awards for Best Music’ Director in 2006 for the film ‘Shubhodristi’. In the year 2010, he got the ‘Star Jalsa Entertainment Award’ for ‘Poran Jai Joliya Re’. In the year 2014, Jeet received the ‘Mirchi Music Awards’ for the movie ‘Boss’.
