Sanhlada is the youngest of the four sons of Hiranyakasipu. Hiranyakasipu was the son of Kashyapa by his second wife Diti. Sanhlada along with his brothers Anuhlada, Hlada and Prahlada extended the Daityas race. Sanhlada was distinguished for his heroism, and termed as the augmenter of the Daitya race.
