Niharika's birthplace is in Haridwar and her father is a senior Tourism official in Uttaranchal state. Niharika's mother is the director at a fashion design university. Niharika Singh has thus seen the glamour world quite closely, since her childhood.

Niharika Singh appeared in T.V commercials for Milk n Roses soap, Asian Paints, Sony Wega, Vagh Bakri tea, Samsung and so on. She is also seen in print ads for Unitech, Samsung and Oasis Telecom and others. Niharika Singh will make her debut in a Hindi film "A New Love Isshtory" by John Mathew Matthan, opposite the singer/actor Himesh Reshammiya.
