Ayub Khan was born on 23rd February 1969 in Mumbai. His mother, Begum Para was one of the most prominent actresses of her time, during the 1950s. He has done very few lead roles, but all of them were marked with positive remarks. He has tried his hand in production too which was followed by moderate success.

Ayub Khan debuted in the film "Mashooq" in 1992. He is best known for his acting in the films such as "Dadagiri" (1997), "Mela" (2000), "Dil Chahta Hai" (2001) and "Gangajal" (2003). He is also popular for his roles in TV series, "Karishma" (2003), "Uttaran" (2008) and "Ek Hasina Thi" (2014). He became a known figure among the households for his portrayal of "Jogi Thakur" in the show "Uttaran". He has received many awards in his acting career.

Personal Life of Ayub Khan
He is the nephew of legendary actor Dilip Kumar, his father being Dilip Kumars younger brother. His aunt Zarina is the mother of Rukhsana Sultana, mother of actress Amrita Singh. He is married to Niharika Bhasin who is known for films like "Rock On!!" and "The Dirty Picture." He is also the father of two children, Tahura Khan and Zohra Khan.
