Jyotishmat is the youngest of the ten sons of Priyavrata.

The Vishnu Purana affirms that Jyotishmat is the youngest of the ten sons of Priyavrata. He was the king of Kusadwipa. Jyotishmat had seven sons, after whom the seven portions or varshas of the island were named. At the end of all things the seven solar rays dilate to seven suns, one of which is termed as Jyotishmat.
