Pushpottara is one of the classes of heavens according to Jain philosophy. There is a mythical story related to Pushpottara, the heaven. After an existence of twenty-five lakhs of years, Priyamitra returned to the earth in the Bharata division as Nandana. Priyamitra was raised to the dignity of king of the gods in the Pushpottara heaven. Here in the heaven, Priyamitra preserved his ancient faith, offering flowers to, and bathing daily, the hundred and eighty images of the Arhats.
