Madhu, in the Hindu mythology is the name of the Rakshasa chief, or the great demon. Madhu is one of the demon brothers Madhu-Kaitabh, killed by Lord Vishnu and was named Madhusudhana.
Madhu was one of the sons of Kartavirya. Again Madhu is son of Vrisha. Madhu is also the name of Devakshatra.
