The plot of the film revolves around father and son relationship. The Telugu film shows how the over affection of a father makes his son claustrophobic. The subject is beautifully dealt with and the actors perfectly justify their roles too. Arvind (Prakash Raj) is Siddhu's (Siddharth Narayan) father. His dominance in Siddhu's life is perturbing for the son. Every decision in the young man's life is dominated by his father- from his dress, his hairstyle and even while he is playing carrom. According to Arvind it is necessary to supervise son's life so that they are able to build a dream house, Bommarillu.
As the story of Bommarillu proceeds further Siddhu's discontentment is apparently shown yet he is not brave enough to defy his father. His marriage is fixed by his father against his wish and he is compelled to join the family business. However fate had decided otherwise. Siddhu bumps into the vivacious Hasini at a temple. They keep on meeting each other and fall in love. Back home Siddhu expresses his reluctance to marry the girl his father has chosen and speaks about Hasini.
