One may ask what 'shoulds', 'oughts', and 'must dos' are buried within this conscience heart chakra. Questions like-which ones are no longer valid and need to be put to rest, can be asked. As each stricture comes out to one's conscious mind, one needs to recognise one's feelings about it, how each helps or hinders one's ability to relax, relate, enjoy oneself and one's life. Questions like- what can one release, what should one enforce even more, can come to one's mind. It is advised to move one's awareness up to the chakra of attachment and non-attachment, next in line. One can feel the flow of energy; it is advised to notice its quality and distinguish the feelings, ideas, essences of what this heart evokes within an individual. One must ask oneself what one needs, craves, loves or possesses. Possibly they are materialistic things- house, car, nothing, some old trinket cautiously treasured. Questions like-what do these attachments mean to them can be asked. Or possibly the attachments are to people ideas, ways of relating to the world, ways of comprehending the ideal. One can question- what do these adherences does significant in their life, do they free or confine them, do they comfort or cause one uneasiness, where do they honestly want to attach and what do they want to let go off, can one watch oneself increase well beyond these treasured adherences- it looks as if is "loving responsibly, yet letting go at the same time!" One can open the will-to-live chakra- the foremost heart chakra in the middle of one's chest, between the nipples. The powerful flow of energy needs to be felt from this strong, incisive chakra of love, the jubilation, openness, curiosity and exhilaration for the next adventure. One must let the energy pour out to comprehend the next teaching lesson; one must cajole oneself; it is advised to sift the lessons of one's life for their essences of truth, tolerantly allowing change of existing love, knowledge and understanding. One must let oneself simply experience who he/she actually is. Now, one needs to first open the heart chakra of retribution and forgiveness (directly above the will to live); one must experience the energy, notice the alterations and relax, allowing the chakra to flow. Questions like-are there old and deeply buried grudges there, what burdens can one let go of, what forgiveness can be released from this chakra, can be always asked. It is best to breath deeply and peacefully. It is advised to envision in one's mind eye the face of the person with whom one has the most complexity in this life (whether now living or dead). One must try to hear his/her voice. It might come to one's mind, what is the most infuriating thing that the person does, did one ever love the person, does that love still continue. One can walk back to one's memory and determine the basic cause of the first difficulty one had with this person. One can question about one's desire to have ever wanted to smack the individual, even kill. Does any specific irksome physical characteristic about this person bother oneself? One might have felt there was another kind of relationship between oneself (for instance, mother or father), one which does not exist in this life. Now, one can pardon oneself for anything one might have ever said or done to this person. One needs to take 30 seconds; say over and over again- "I forgive myself" for whatever one may have done to this person. Now, it is best to ask for God's forgiveness for any attitude one might have had, or anything one has ever said or done to this person. It takes just one half minute to ask for God's clemency. Silently now in the mind, one must forgive the person for anything he or she may have done to oneself- particular acts, particular words. It is best to forgive them now. It takes just one half minute to forgive. And lastly, for one half minute, one must pray for the person, send love to this person, bless this person- even if its grates one's nerves raw- it is mandatory to pray for this person and relax and then smile. Finally, one can flow from that sweet place of forgiveness within. The next chakra is the compassionate heart chakra. It must be massaged, then one needs to gently focus the consciousness, open the chakra, and let one's compassion flow out. It is necessary to feel the compassion, let it out indiscriminately for everyone who brushes against one's being, one's life. Compassion for one's friends, for the family, for one's intimates and lastly for his/her own self. One must flow over with the pleasantness of compassion, letting oneself savour the humour of one's compassion. The power of this energy now absolutely needs to focused on oneself, one must allow it to wash over the oddities, idiosyncrasies, pet peeves, secret habits; one can let oneself smile at this probing, curious, immaculate astounding being- that is the individual herself/himself. One needs to move up now to the next heart chakra, that of opening up to elevated spiritual energies, just below the horseshoe of one's throat. One must allow to let a prayer form within this flow of energy-what does this opening to the celestial origins feel like, is a big question that comes to every mind. One must allow to let this the prayer form into a wish for a fresh start on life, an elevated perseverance of one's spirit to a shinier calling. One must check one's desire for shreds of 'oughts' and 'ought nots', for adherences that bind, for obstinacy and ego, for secreted bitternesses and pet likes. Now, one must sparkle one's wish, glisten this prayer, and let it go up into the divine. Lastly, one must move the awareness into the cavity of the throat, into that horseshoe, the chakra of service. One must let oneself concentrate on wholly opening, expanding, breathing past the somewhat clogging, blocking, closing feeling that happens so easily in this fragile area. One may ask-- what types of service are opening up in one's life, where exactly is one making the effort to give to life, what does one's service energy feel like. One should notice it, experience it, sense it, with all one's being. Later, one must ask what fresh areas of service are starting to open within oneself. One can also question to experience the very highest that is within oneself to give. "I will to will Thy will". IT is advised to form that intent, send it up, re-devote oneself to the needs of service beginning to sprout within oneself- "I will to will Thy will". |
