Synopsis of the Indian movie 'Jodhaa Akbar' The story of the Indian movie 'Jodhaa Akbar' is set in the sixteen century. This is an epic romance that is screened in the celluloid by the director Ashutosh Gowariker. The romance begins as a marriage of alliance between two cultures and religions as both of them are from different religions i.e. Hindu and Muslim. The marriage actually takes place because of the political gain, to strengthen the relation between the Mughals and the Rajputs. But in the whole process Akbar boards on another boat i.e. love. He truly falls in love with the Rajput Princess Jodhabai. Jodhaa-Akbar is their untold love story hidden in the battleground of the Mughal Empire. ![]() Akbar's brother-in-law Sharifuddin Hussain played by Nikitin Dheer makes an attack on Akbar with a poisonous arrow, but when revealed by the Mughal soldiers they decide to attack on the victim. By that time Sharifuddin arranges soldiers against him in order to become the king of Hindustan. Sharifuddin also skills Sujamal who seeks his help to get the seat of Amer. Lastly Sharifuddin demands sole fighting with Akbar and puts forward that if Akbar wins he will leave the country forever but if he wins he will be the king of Hindustan. Eventually after tremendous fight between the two Akbar wins the battle but he does not kill Sharifuddin inspite of his evil means as because he loves his sister Bakshi Banu Begum played by Abir Abrar. Jodha and Akbar unite and the flick ends on a positive note.
