Jodhaa Akbar,  Indian movieThe Indian movie, `Jodhaa Akbar`, is set at the backdrop of 16th century Mughal Empire. Mohhammad Jalal-Uddin-Akbar was famous for many happenings he did in his lifetime, as for example he was the founder of Din-I-Ilahi; he was also famous for his Court of Navratnas. But most important was his marital relation with a Hindu Rajput princess Jodhabai. The story of the film mainly concentrates on the love story about a marriage of alliance. But this marriage ultimately gives birth to an unconditional true love between a great Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess.

The movie is produced and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker who is famous for his Academy award nominated `Lagaan`. To make a historical film extensive research is important and the director did the same to make it a historical one. Most of the part of this Bollywood movie is shot at the place named Karjat. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai and both of them have done a brilliant job. Although there are some controversies about the fact showed in the movie still the audience think it as a treat to their eyes. The things can be easier.

Synopsis of the Indian movie `Jodhaa Akbar`
The story of the Indian movie `Jodhaa Akbar` is set in the sixteen century. This is an epic romance that is screened in the celluloid by the director Ashutosh Gowariker. The romance begins as a marriage of alliance between two cultures and religions as both of them are from different religions i.e. Hindu and Muslim. The marriage actually takes place because of the political gain, to strengthen the relation between the Mughals and the Rajputs. But in the whole process Akbar boards on another boat i.e. love. He truly falls in love with the Rajput Princess Jodhabai.

Akbar played by Hrithik Roshan was politically very successful.After having secured the Hindu Kush, he furthered his realm by conquest until his empire extended from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal, and from the Himalayas to the Godavari River. Akbar also won the allegiance of the Rajputs. When Akbar married the Rajput princess Jodhabai played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan he known very little about her. As a matter of fact Jodha was a fiery Rajput princess. In order to further strengthen his relations with the Rajputs Akbar marries Jodha. Jodha is the daughter of King Bharmal of Amer. As the films proceeds Akbar falls in love with Jodhaa and now the biggest challenge for him is to win Jodhaa`s heart. Jodhaa-Akbar is their untold love story hidden in the battleground of the Mughal Empire.

Jodhaa Akbar,  Indian movie When Jodha comes to Agra after marrying Akbar from Amer, Akbar`s mother welcomes her in true heart. But Maham Anga who loves Jalaluddin i.e. Akbar more than her own son does not take it as a normal case. She has a thought that Jodha came to kill Jalaluddin. Jodha tries to win everyone`s heart but as she is from a different religion she can`t tolerate the intimacy with the king and he in return never forced Jodha. But Maham Anga takes it wrongly and thinks that she can create any misunderstanding between the two. Eventually her own son Adham Khan played by Shaji Choudhary does some big mistakes and Jalaluddin sentenced him to death. Maham Anga becomes furious and her anger outbursts on Jodha where she tells that Jodha is doing some mischief and within some days she will meet her lover. Jalaluddin becomes doubtful about Jodha and starts eyeing on her, after some day he sees that Jodha is meeting someone in the forest at night. He becomes offended and asks his soldiers to arrest that person. Though they failed but Jalaluddin ordered Jodha to go back to her father`s house in Amer. But after some days when his own mother Mallika Hamida Banu comes from tour she reveals the fact that actually that night Jodha was meeting her brother Sujamal played by Sonu Sood and Jodha is not guilty. Jalal goes to take her back but Jodha does not come. Though after some days in a grand occasion when all the countrymen were dancing in front of the king, Jodha comes and starts staying with Jalaluddin. In the same occasion his subjects request Jalal to take the name Akbar. Since then Jalaluddin is known as Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar.

Akbar`s brother-in-law Sharifuddin Hussain played by Nikitin Dheer makes an attack on Akbar with a poisonous arrow, but when revealed by the Mughal soldiers they decide to attack on the victim. By that time Sharifuddin arranges soldiers against him in order to become the king of Hindustan. Sharifuddin also skills Sujamal who seeks his help to get the seat of Amer. Lastly Sharifuddin demands sole fighting with Akbar and puts forward that if Akbar wins he will leave the country forever but if he wins he will be the king of Hindustan. Eventually after tremendous fight between the two Akbar wins the battle but he does not kill Sharifuddin inspite of his evil means as because he loves his sister Bakshi Banu Begum played by Abir Abrar. Jodha and Akbar unite and the flick ends on a positive note.

The main star cast of the film `Jodhaa Akbar` includes Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonu Sood, Suhasini Mulay, Ila Arun, Raja Murad, Pramod Moutho, Pramatesh Mehta, etc. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and it is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie is written by Haidar Ali, Ashutosh Gowariker and K. P. Saxena. Music in the film is given by A. R. Rahman while lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar.
