The Indian movie 'Welcome' is directed by Anees Bazmee. This is a comedy thriller, which has brilliant star cast with Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and many more. The film has also seen Feroz Khan in an important role. Malaika Arora Khan is also present in a dance sequence. This is a film from the producers of 'Hera Pheri' and 'Phir Hera Pheri', the director of 'No Entry' and also the distributors of 'Jab We Met'. Synopsis of 'Welcome'
Rajiv played by Akshay Kumar is a handsome, intelligent and eligible man. He is still bachelor and searching his girl. His maternal uncle Dr. Ghungroo played by Paresh Rawal wants a bahu from a decent family. He wants that no one from her family should go to the police station. In the process he has discarded many proposals and trying continuously to search a good one for him. But Rajiv falls in love with Sanjana played by Katrina Kaif. He doesn't know that Sanjana is the younger sister of the biggest don in the city Uday Shetty played by Nana Patekar. Uday's brother Majnubhai played by Anil Kapoor is strong-armer. He likes to hold people at his gunpoint and paint their portraits in such situation. He refers it as 'Live Painting'. The two dons try for marriage between Sanjana and Rajiv. Bur Rajiv's Uncle Dr. Ghungroo does not agree on the proposal.
Rajiv and Sanjana tries to plan something and comes with the decision that the dons should change their character. Ishika played by Mallika Sherawat enters the frame to execute the plan. She gets closed to both the brothers Uday Shetty and Majnubhai. Eventually the two dons fall in love with her. Now they are away from the crime business and busy in some other life. Rajiv and Sanjana gets relieved. Just at that time enters the biggest don, named RDX played by Feroz Khan. He comes to set the things in its path. Uday is now involved in Film media and falls in love with his heroine Ishika and Majnubhai has also gets his love. Mallika Sherawat plays both the part that means as love for both of them. Lastly they manage uncle Dr. Ghungroo to give consent for Rajiv's marriage and also prepare Uday and Majnubhi. The film has a happy ending.
