Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura
It is the result of a merger of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura and the Tripura Upajati Juba Samiti in 2002.

Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra is headed by Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl (former guerrilla leader of the Tripura National Volunteers). It is a political party active in the Indian state of Tripura. The Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra is the output of a merger of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura and the Tripura Upajati Juba Samiti in 2002.

Twipra Students Federation is the student`s wing under INPT. Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl, former guerilla chief of Tripura National Volunteers and Jagadish Debbarma , former Chairman of the TTAADC from 1990 to 1995 A.D., are the outstanding politicians of the party. The Indian Nationalist Party of Twipra was allied with the Indian National Congress in the state assembly elections of 2003. The Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra after the Lok Sabha Elections of 2004, joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
