![]() Plot of Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke The Indian movie Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke is basically a comedy movie mixed with some romance and action. Rahul Malhotra played by Aamir Khan is the manager of the heavily in debt family business. The business was once his sister’s, who unfortunately dies in a road accident with her husband. This in turn, leaves Rahul as the guardian of his deceased sister's three mischievous kids. The movie runs a parallel story of Vyjayanti played by Juhi Chawla. She is the daughter of an orthodox South Indian businessman, who wants his daughter to get married with a south Indian singer. Vyjayanti does not want to marry the man of her father's choice, so she escapes when the opportunity rises. On her way she meets the three children and enjoys a lot in a fair. At the evening when the children are going home Vyjayanti feels lonely as she had no place to go, so the children took her to their house. Rahul hires Vaijayanti as governess. Over a period of time Rahul and Vaijayanti fall in love. Maya played by Navneet Nishan is a rich girl also in love with Rahul. She tries to ruin his family as well as his business, but could not do so. Ultimately when Rahul decides to marry Vyjayanti she reveals the fact that she is the daughter of a rich person and he has to go to her father. The movie comes to conclusion with Rahul going to Vyjayanti's father asking for his daughter’s hand and they marry according to South Indian tradition.
