Jhagrakhand is a town and a nagar panchayat situated in the Koriya district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The Indian census town published in 2001, Jhagrakhand had a small population of 7507. Males constitute 52% of the population and female constitute 48%. In Jhagrakhand, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. The literacy rate of Jhagrakhand is also stated in the census report, which is 63%. The literacy rate is higher than the national average literacy rate, which is 59.5% and this is a progressive trend. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 72% and the female literacy rate is 54%.
