Literacy rate too can be derived from it. What is also interesting to note that the average literacy rate of Hebbalu is higher than that of the entire nation. Average literacy rates of Hebbalu and India are 71 percent and 59.5% percent. It has been found out that the male literacy rate is 72 percent and rate of female literacy is 71 percent.
