In the state of Uttar Pradesh, a multitude of towns and places have developed which has drawn attention of so many historians and experts. Hasayan is one such place. To be specific , Hasayan is a 'nagar panchayat' that is situated in the district of Hathras of Uttar Pradesh state.

According to the Census report that has been brought out in the year 2001, certain data like population status, literacy rate etc is collected. Thus the total population of the city of Hasayan has been counted to be 5584. Specific information about males, females as well as children also can be known from this report. For example, females constitute of 46 percent, while the males comprise of 54 percent. What is interesting to note that Hasayan has an average literacy rate of 50 percent. Thus lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 61%, and female literacy is 37%.
