Guru Har Sahai is a small city situated in Firozpur District of the northern state of India, Punjab. It is very close to Sharinwala. The municipal council looks after the local administration of the place. The nearby towns and villages of Guru Har Sahai are Muktsar, Gazniwala Jalalabad, Ferozepur and Kahan Singh Wala. The city is well connected to the other places in the state. The nearest railway station is the Guru Har Sahai Railway Station on the Ferozepur -Jalalabad rail route.
The 2001 India census report shows that population of Guru Har Sahai, is 14,348. Males constitute 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. In Guru Har Sahai, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of the town is 61%. This is a progressive trend because the average national literacy rate is 59.5%. To be specific, the male literacy rate is 65% and the female literacy rate is 57%.
