Sugali Tribe, Andhra Pradesh
Sugali tribal people have settled down in the state of Andhra in the Adadakulapalle village in the Anantapur District.

Quite a handful of tribes reside in every nook and corner of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Amongst them, the name of the Sugali tribal community deserves special mentioning. There are quite a number of Sugali tribes, who have resided in other states of Indian subcontinent as well. As per the records of quite a number of anthropologists of the Indian subcontinent, in the state of Andhra Pradesh the Sugali tribal community is one of the nomadic tribes who have settled down in a village called Adadakulapalle in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh.
Amongst various backward castes resident of the area, this Sugali tribal community comprises of an individual group which outnumbers others as whole. Here, the Sugali tribes are further segregated into 2 thandas and are popularly known as Kothapalle Thanda (new Thanda) and Jalapalle Thanda or Patha Thanda (old Thanda) So much so that , in the Adadakulapalle Panchayat, seats are being reserved for Sugalis tribes. Not only that, from the wards of the Adadakulapalle Panchayat , 2 members of this Sugali tribal community act as representatives in each of the wards. Festivals , dancing , music also a play a part in the lives of all the tribal communities of Andhar Pradseh , including the Sugali tribal community.
