Rajinder Singh, who is a field hockey player, participated at the Olympics as the member of the Indian National hockey Team. He has participated at the 1964 Olympic tournament and at the 1980 Olympic tournament held respectively at Tokyo and Moscow. At both the occasion India won the gold medal. Rajinder Singh has coached the national team many a times and the teams won the respective awards. Rajinder Singh was the coach of the senior team from 2001 to 2003.
