Gogapur is a small census town situated in the northern part of Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Ujjain, the district headquarters town is located in the northwest at a distance of 62 km. The nearest airport is Devi Ahilya Bai Holekar Airport at a distance of 72 km. from Ujjain. The nearest railway station Nagda Junction Railway Station is at a distance of 24 km. The surrounding places of Gogapur are Shajapur, Jaora, Ujjain and Nagda.It is located between 23.55° North latitude and 75.52° East longitude at a height of 486 metres (1594 feet) above mean sea level.
