Ghagga is a town in Patiala district of the northern state of India, Punjab. It is located on the Patiala Patra road and falls in the Shutrana constituency of Punjab.
According to the 2001 India census report, Ghagga had a small population of 8212 inhabitants. Males account for 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. In Ghagga, 15% of the population is less than six years of age. Ghagga has an average literacy rate of 49% which is lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 56% and the female literacy rate is 41%.
