City Palace, Udaipur
The City Palace , one of the famous Indian monuments located in Udayapur.It is essentially a fortified city with massive walls enclosing a mini township within its folds. The foundations of the City Palace Complex was laid by Maharana Udai Singhji when he decided to build a new capital for the Sisodia rulers of Chittorgarh.The main palace is an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthan and Mughal architecture.

 
Gateway of India, Mumbai
The Gateway of India is the most famous Indian monument located in Mumbai and is the starting point for most tourists who want to explore the city. It is a great historical monument built during the British rule in India. The Gateway of India was built as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit of King George V , complete with four turrets and intricate latticework carved into the yellow basalt stone.

 
Sanchi Stupa
Sanchi is the most redolent and attractive Indian Monument despite its damages and restorations. Sanchi is primarily a place of Stupas and pillars but the beautifully decorated gateways add grace to the beauty of the place. It is located near Bhopal in the state of MadhyaPradesh. The Stupa is a wonderful testimony to the artistic skill of Buddhist monks. The Stupas are large hemispherical domes containing a central chamber, in which the relics of Buddha are placed.

 
 
Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is the only Indian monument, which is one of its kinds across the world. It is majestic, magnificent and the unrivalled monument, which is a monumental labour of love of a great ruler for his beloved queen. Built out of white marble and standing in formally laid-out walled gardens, the Taj Mahal is regarded as the most perfect jewel of Muslim art in India.

 
Ajanta & Ellora Caves
Ellora is the finest example of cave temples with almost 34 caves with intricate interiors and ornamental facades. Carved during the 350 A.D. and 700 A.D., the rock temples and monasteries represent three faiths - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The paintings and sculptures of Ajanta and Ellora are considered as masterpieces of the Buddhist art and they have had a great influence in the development of art in India. Hence, UNESCO has considered these Indian monuments as a World heritage site.

Qutab Minar
Qutab Minar, the soaring tower of the brick tiled Indian Monument has become synonymous with the colonial capital of Delhi. The word `Qutab Miner` means `axis minaret`. It is a unique example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture. Qutab Minar, the five-storied structure, each of which marked by a projecting balcony, was built in three stages. Qutab-ud-Din Ibak started the Minar and completed the first storey. Second, third and the fourth stories were completed by his successor and son-in -law, Illtutmish in 1230 AD.
