 Sandhya Mridul, Indian ActressThe very gorgeous and talented actress Sandhya Mridul was born on 28 March 1975 in Mumbai but moved to New Delhi when she was only 10 years old. Her father, P. R. Mridul was an advocate. After completing her education in Delhi she moved to Mumbai as a marketing executive. Soon after she found her true calling as an actress and went ahead with her strong determination to make a mark both in the Indian Film Industry as well as the Indian Television Industry. At the age of 14 her father passed away and she was brought up by her elder brother Justice Siddharth Mridul who is a sitting judge of Delhi High Court. She also has another elder brother named Pankaj.

Career of Sandhya Mridul
Sandhya Mridul made his acting debut with the serial 'Koshish Ek Asha', which she claims gave her a lot of what she is today. She also acted in the popular TV serial 'Swabhimaan' and 'Banegi Apni Baat.' 'Hubahu' was her last serial in the television and it is in this soap that she played twin sisters and became a rage among the television audiences. She also did the cricket based show 'Extra Innings' for Sony Television the programme during the Cricket World Cup 2003. She later again appeared in the serial 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin' in the SONY TV Channel.

Sandhya Mridul, Indian Actress Sandhya Mridul has also made a mark in the Bollywood film industry with the Bollywood chartbuster 'Saathiya' starring the top-most Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee and Vivek Oberoi. In this film she played the role of Rani's elder sister. She was showered with many offers. Following 'Saathiya' she acted in 'Waisa Bhi Hota Hai -Part 2'and received much appreciation. Then she did a crossover film called 'Strings' and soon after she appeared in a very significant and well-sketched role in Madhur Bhandarkar's ' Page 3' with Konkona Sen Sharma and Tara Sharma. After that she experimented with some scripts and then took up VJ Luke Kenno's directorial venture titled '13th Floor'. She also did an English play 'Zen Katha' with Lillete Dubey. Since the later involved much martial art she had to undergo training in the same. Sandhya's dancing skills were highlighted in the film 'Chowki.' 'In Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.', she plays a wife stuck in a marriage with a gay man. She appeared in suspense movie 'Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante' by Tanvir Khan, she acts with Irfan Khan. 'In The Great Indian Butterfly', she illustrates the story of how a young Indian couple climbs the ladder of the corporate rate race in a nation. She proved her acting talent again in an off-beat film called 'Via Darjeeling' in which she plays the role of an alcoholic. Sandhya had been the he runners-up at the popular dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 2) in SONY TV. Her fans expect that this great actress goes a long way in her career and scales heights of success in the coming years.
