The very handsome and charming actor Aamir Ali used to essay the role of Sameer in the very popular Balaji soap `Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki`. This extremely talented actor was born in Mumbai. His mom worked in a bank, which was a transferable job so he got to imbibe the different cultures within himself. He completed his education from the National College in Mumbai.

Acting happened to him by chance and before he got to get the feel of it he has risen to the status of a star. He was modeling for sometime and it is after working in a cold drinks campaign that he got noticed and was showered with acting offers.

According to him that ad made his life by giving him the golden opportunity to enter the world of acting. He also holds the belief that everybody wants to move ahead in life and acting is the gradual step after modeling. He claims that bagging a good banner film with a meaty role is not an easy job so he decided to launch his career of acting by the taking plunge into the medium of television. He got a call from the Balaji Telefilms to essay the role of Sameer in the popular Balaji soap `Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki`.

Aamir Ali The very talented Aamir Ali believes in performance-oriented roles. It does not matter to him in which medium he is acting. He has already made his mark in the Bollywood film industry by enacting a significant role in the Bollywood flick `Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai`. He claims that it was an out-and-out comedy and he was proud to be a part of it.

The actors who top his list of inspirations are Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachhan and Kamal Hassan. He claims that his dream roles are the one, which he is about to portray in the forthcoming films `Anjaan` and `Raghu`. In the former film Aamir Ali plays the role of a mysterious stranger who creates havoc in the lives of a husband and wife within a few days after he visits their house. He chose to play the role mainly because it has several shades in it. He also considers himself extremely fortunate to get such a role in the beginning of his career.

Unlike other actors he is not apprehensive about the fact that the `television actor` tag would prove to be a barrier in the films. He believes that with sheer hard work and determination even a television actor can become a star in the Bollywood film industry. On the personal front also this actor is doing quite well and is very contented with life. He is seeing another popular television and South Indian film actress Sanjeeda. Together they are also taking part in the third season of the celebrity dance show `Nach Baliye`.

They make a really cute pair and are very serious about their relationship. His fans wish that this actor has lots of potential to make it big in the acting world and if given the proper platform he can truly prove his skills as a versatile actor.
