Aamir Ali is a well known Indian film and television actor. He gained popularity with the series Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki where he played the role of Sameer.

 Aamir Ali, Indian TV ActorAamir Ali, born as Aamir Ali Malik, is a highly popular Indian film and television actor. The charming and talented actor used to essay the role of Sameer in the well known Balaji daily soap Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Aamir Ali was born on 1st September, 1979 in Mumbai, Maharashtra in a Muslim family. His mother was a working professional who was employed with a bank. Due to her profession, she had to travel through out the country and hence Ali got the opportunity to imbibe the different cultures within him. Aamir Ali completed his education from St Anthony High School at Malaad and the National College in Mumbai. Later he did his graduation in B.A. from American University in Washington, DC, United States of America.

Career of Aamir Ali
Aamir Ali made his acting debut with the bollywood film Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai, directed by Hansal Mehta. Acting happened to him by chance and before he got to get the feel of it he has risen to the status of a star. He was modeling for sometime and it is after working in a cold drinks campaign that he got noticed and was showered with acting offers. According to him that ad made his life by giving him the golden opportunity to enter the world of acting. Later, Aamir Ali got the opportunity to essay the role of a pivotal character in the popular Balaji soap Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, produced by the Balaji Telefilms. He played the role of the 2nd husband of Shruti, named Sameer Kaul. He also appeared in the serial Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki that was aired in Sahara One. He played the role of Soumya Parashar. Eventually Ali played a lead role in the series Kya Dill Mein Hai by Balaji Telefilms.

Aamir Ali participated in the 3rd season of Nach Baliye with his wife and fellow actress Nach Baliye. The couple won the Nach Baliye 3 championship beating the contenders Abhishek Avasthi and Rakhi Sawant. He was also featured in Kuchh Is Tara on Sony Television Channel and portrayed the role of a Sikh and a tapori who kidnaps Ayaan. In 2009, Aamir Ali appeared in the lead role of Armaan in the project Bhaskar Bharti, with Ragini Khanna. In 2010, he was seen on Zara Nachke Dikha. He also acted in the serial F.I.R. in the role of Inspector Bajrang Pandey.

Apart from these, Aamir Ali acted in many other Hindi serials like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ishq Ki Ghanti, Kuchh Is Tara, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Nach Baliye 4 (Host), Zara Nachke Dikha 2 and others. He has also done a number of Hindi films namely Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai, Anjaan, Raakh and I Hate Luv Storys.

The talented actor Aamir Ali got married to actress Sanjeeda Sheikh on 2nd March 2012.
