Located in the Ganjam district in the state of Orissa, Chikti is a small town.

According to the 2001 census report, Chikiti had a population of 10,801 where males and females constitute 50% of the population each.11% of the population is less than six years of age. Chikiti has a literacy rate of 63%, which is higher than the national average of 59.5% .The male literacy rate is 74% of the population where as the female literacy rate is 51%.
