Ekashtaka was the daughter of Prajapati.

 Ekashtaka was the daughter of Prajapati. Prajapati became the mother of Indra, and of Soma, through practising austere-fervour. According to other authorities, Indra is one of the sons of Kasyapa and Dakshayani.
