Haryana Cricket team is a domestic cricket team, which is base in the Haryana state. Haryana Cricket Association operates the team. Haryana cricket team has given a gem cricketer like Kapil Dev, who brought the World cup to the country in 1983. In the recent years, Haryana Cricket team has played very well and has won the "Ranji Trophy" once and has become runner up also once. The team has appeared in the "Ranji Trophy" tournament twice, first tine in 1986 against the Delhi team, where they got defeated badly. The next time it was in 1991, when it played against the Mumbai team, where the Haryana Cricket team won by 2 runs. Thus they go the chance to play their only "Irani Trophy" match against the "Rest of India" team. Haryana cricket team won the match by 4 wickets.
