Punjab Cricket team is the official cricket team of the Punjab state, which represents the state in "First-class" cricket. This team has qualified for the "Ranji Trophy" semi-finals three times in the last five years. Punjab Cricket team reached the final in "Ranji Trophy" in 2004/05, where the Railways cricket team defeated them in the first innings. This team could win the "Ranji Trophy" only once in 1992/93 season. This team comes under the "North Zone" cricket team.
