Amit Uniyal is a left-handed batsman of the Punjab cricket team, who is also a left-arm medium pace bowler.

Amit Uniyal started playing in the "First-class" cricket in 2001/02. Till then, he has played in altogether 28 "First-class" matches in his cricket career with an average of 23.03. He has made his total score of 760 runs in these matches, which includes three half-centuries. The maximum score made by Amit Uniyal in any of the "First-class" matches is 68 runs. Amit Bhandari, Mritunjay Tripathi and Rajesh Pawar dismissed him mostly in these matches. The "Twenty20" cricket debut of Amit Uniyal was against Orissa team, which was held at Mumbai on April 19 in 2007. He has played in two "Twenty20" matches and scored total 14 runs. His highest score in any of the "Twenty20" matches is also 14 runs and his striking rate is 82.35. While with ball in hand, Amit Uniyal has picked up total three wickets by giving 22 runs out of the 24 balls he played in the "Twenty20" matches.
