Tantra Yoga Teachers and Painters

The renowned teachers and painters of Tantra, who taught their followers how to teach on Tantra are as follows:
Harish Johari: Harish Johari is reckoned as the Ayurveda`s Renaissance Man. He was the successful teacher of Tantric Yoga. Harish Johari was a man of multiple talents. He was a gifted author, an erudite scholar, an inspiring teacher and an expert cook. Harish Johari was proficient in Ayurvedic massages and was a wonderful chanter of Mantras. He also composed a number of Indian music. Harish Johari was the inspiration for the entire Sanatan Society Project. Harish Johari painted efficiently and the painting tradition is named after him as Harish Johari Painting Tradition. He passed away on August 20,1999. His last work was the complete revision and expansion of the famous Chakra Book.

Suresh Johari: Late Suresh Chandra Johari(1942-2000), was a great artist of Tantric Yoga teaching. He was the follower of his brother late Shree Harish Johari in painting and sculpturing. He was a born artist and was married with three children.
Tantra Yoga Teachers and Painters
Suresh Johari`s paintings were exported to abroad but he himself never left India. Suresh Johari worked as an engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd in Haridwar. He also opened his own Art School in Haridwar. He used to display his artwork at many exhibitions.

Suresh Chandra Johri had a passion for Lord Krishna and painted a series on Krishna. Suresh Johri also sketched the new book "The Life of Krishna". As he fall sick suddenly he could not paint out the composition himself but together with his brother Harish Johri, he guided Peter Weltevrede in completing the project. Five months after the project was completed Suresh Chandra Johri passed away.

Baba Dwarka Das : Baba Dwarka Das was one of the teachers of Harish Johri. He used to live a very simple life in Gauri Shankar Temple of Bareilly and became the spiritual guide for the local people. He left his body in the year 1998.

Chandra Bal : Chandra Bal was the master of Harish Johri, who taught him the wash painting technique to paint the Tantra Yoga sketches. Chandra Bal`s painting technique is behind the paintings of Sanatan Society. He learned the wash painting technique from Shri Bhawani Prasad Mittal. Chandra Bal was the teacher of many renowned painters along with Harish Johri, like Peter Weltevrede, Sandeep Johari, Suresh Johari, Sapna Johari etc. For most of his life he taught painting in his own private school in Bereilly. Master Chandra Bal left his body on the 15th of June, 2002.
