Anuradha Paudwal
Anuradha Paudwal is the most gifted playback singers in the history of Hindi films with many hit numbers to her credit.

Anuradha Paudwal is reckoned as the most gifted playback singers in the history of Hindi films. She has completed her studies from Xavier`s College in Mumbai (Bombay). She is married to Arun Paudwal, who previously worked with music director S. D. Burman for some time. Anuradha Paudwal`s playback singing career started with the epoch-making film `Abhimaan`, (starring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan). But she was formally initiated into singing in 1976, with the movie Kalicharan, (starring Shatrugan Sinha and Reena Roy). Aap Beeti, (starring Hema Malini and Shashi Kapoor) was her first solo singing project.

Anuradha Paudwal has worked with eminent music composers like, Laxmikant-Pyarelal (in the film Kalicharan), Rajesh Roshan (in the film Des Pardes), Jaidev (in the films Dooriyan, Laila Majnu), Kalyanji-Anandji (in the film Kalaakar, Vidhataa), and Usha Khanna (in the film Souten, Sajan Bina Suhagan). She also sang for a few Marathi movies and gave some memorable numbers at that, like- "Disate Majalaa" (in the movie, Ashtavinayak), "Raja Lalakaari", and "Kaalyaa Maatita Maatitaa". But she rose to fame with her renderings for the movie, Hero, composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

Anuradha PaudwalAfter her colaboration with Gulshan Kumar (of T-Series fame) Anuradha Paudwal began tasted success with movies like, Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka, Tezaab, Ashiqui, and Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin. At that time, she declared that she would sing entirely for the music company, "T-series", and centered on devotional songs and "cover-version" albums. But after five long years, she resumed playback singing for movies. Some recent movie songs that hit the charts include "Kismat Se Tum" (from the film `Pukar`), "Akeli Hai Yeh Mis Khiladi" (from the film `Mr & Mrs Khiladi`), "Zara Aankhon Se Kajal" (from the film `Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehtein Hai`), "Chaha Hai Tujhko" (from the film `Mann`), and "Jogiya"` (from the film `Deewane`).
