Vece Paes represented the Indian team in the 1972 Munich Olympics. He was a former Indian hockey midfielder that won the bronze medal in the Munich Olympics. India`s tennis player Leander Paes is the son of Vece Paes.
Vece Paes is also a doctor in sports medicine. He studied at La Martiniere College. He married to Jennifer (nee Dutton), daughter of Michael Dutton and Ruby Myrtle Nyss, Sister of Michael, Lawrance, Peter, Basil.
He is a descendant of the Original `Browning Family` (Thomas Job Browning who Married Eliza Eva Evans) the Grandson of The Dutton Family is Leander (Michael Dutton and Ruby Myrtle Nyss). Dr. Vece Paes has always been a great influence on his son`s sporting successes.
