Dose of Bamboo in Medicine
Sitopaladi Churna: Take bamboo-manna 8 parts, long pepper 4 parts, cardamoms 2 parts, cinnamon 1 part, sugar 16 parts; powder the ingredients and mix. Dose should be about a drachm with honey and clarified butter. This preparation is given in phthisis with pain in the sides, haemoptysis, loss of appetite and burning of the hands and feet.
