Udayadivakara
Udayadivakara is mainly known for his elaborate commentary, known as, Sundari which he wrote on Laghubhaskariya. This has been considered as one of the vital texts on Laghubhasakriya.
Thus, the work of Udayadivakara can be considered as one of compilations as well as translation of the original text which paved the way for further innovations. The group of astronomers who were engaged in translating the work of Bhaskara I mainly concentrated on calculating the longitude of the sun, moon and the earth which engaged Indian astronomy for long.
